Announcing the first new Xenozoic Tales product in 10 years! Mark Schultz has executed an all-new dynamic image for this upcoming print. Two editions will be available. Ray Harryhausen Writes Introduction to William Stout: Prehistoric Life Murals!

Ray Harryhausen is the legendary visual effects creator whose career spans over half a century. His film credits include Mighty Joe Young (1949), The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms (1953), It Came From Beneath the Sea (1955), Earth vs. the Flying Saucers (1956), 20 Million Miles to Earth (1957), The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad (1958) and Jason and the Argonauts (1963). In 1992, Harryhausen received a Lifetime Achievement Oscar, and in 2003 he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Sergio Aragonés awards include the National Cartoonists Society's Reuben Award, and the Will Eisner Hall of Fame Award. He has appeared in Mad magazine since the mid-’60s. He also produced 16 best-selling original Mad paperback books. His animation has been featured on numerous TV shows, including The Shirley MacLaine Special, The Cher Special, The Half-Hour Comedy Hour and Dick Clark's TV Bloopers and Practical Jokes.

Announcing a new book under development from Flesk! Al Williamson’s Flash Gordon: A Lifelong Vision of the Heroic will feature all of Williamson's known work associated with Flash Gordon. This collection will also feature many unpublished Flash Gordon sketches and finished pieces direct from Williamson. After two years of research, we are now in the process of designing the book. Mark Schultz writes the history of Al's working on the character. This 256 pages, 9" X 12" hardbound collection will be a must have!

Flesk Publications is reprinting our inaugural title, Franklin Booth:
Painter with a Pen! The re-release date is set for July 2007. The book
has been out of stock for over six months, and we are pleased to have
had numerous requests to order the book, prompting Flesk Publications to
bring Painter with a Pen back in print. New to this edition is a revised
cover, still reminiscent of the original cover. The interior contents
are identical to the original edition.

Wonder Con has moved to March 2-4 for 2007. This is one of our favorite shows. It features high profile guests and is always enjoyable. Mark Schultz will be joining us again this year. We have had a great start for the New Year. January 2007 has marked the arrival of the new Heavy Metal Magazine, Illustration Magazine, and CBG (Comics Buyer’s Guide), which all contain reviews on the new James Bama: American Realist book. S.C. Ringgenberg has a full page Bama feature in Heavy Metal, and CBG contains two reviews! These are all great magazines worth supporting.

Bud Plant, the biggest and best art bookseller, has just released his “Bestsellers 2004” list. In 2002, Franklin Booth: Painter with a Pen was #1. In 2003, Joseph Clement Coll: The Art of Adventure was #1. This year, for 2004, Franklin Booth and both Joseph Clement Coll books made the list! Joseph Clement Coll: A Legacy in Line came in second behind Lance Laspina’s incredible Frazetta: Painting with Fire documentary. I’m not complaining. Lance did an incredible job. October 2002 - Begin work on Coll book. Only one book was planned, but with over 700 Coll illustrations found in two months research, Flesk decided to split the book into two volumes.
