Our latest title Steve Rude: Artist n Motion is almost here! The book is arriving later than expected, with the bulk shipment expected to arrive in our warehouse on December 20. We will ship all pre-orders, wholesale, and bookstore orders out immediately upon their arrival. I sincerely apologize for this delay and hope you feel it was worth the wait.
In addition to the hardbound and the limited hardbound signed in slipcase editions, there is the super deluxe edition limited to only 13 copies. This super deluxe comes in a hand made clamshell box and includes an original piece of artwork bound into the book. Nine copies are already reserved, with only four copies still available. In other news, I am pleased to have received an unexpected amount of email inquiring about Gary Gianni’s new book The Prince Valiant Page available in June 2008. This book will feature many of Gary’s works, and also provide an insider’s look into the process of how he produces the Prince Valiant strip each week. There will be a super deluxe edition, limited to only 50 copies containing an original pencil preliminary to one of his Prince Valiant Sunday pages. We are taking names for the reservation list, in which ten people have already signed up. The price is not set at this early time, but I expect it to be around $300.00. See the book details here.
Gary Gianni has received much positive press lately due to his illustrating Michael Chabon’s latest book, Gentlemen of the Road. I spoke with Gary about his involvement and posted the interview on our website, along with a few sample images. You can read it here.
Our Mark Schultz Various Drawings books have been great sellers. In fact, Volume Two is almost sold out! We have less than twenty copies of the softbound edition and forty copies of the hardbound edition remaing. Now is your chance to pick it up before they are gone. Your support directly helps Mark produce more work, such as his Storms at Sea book, slated for summer 2008 from Flesk.
